Sara Polak
Researcher
Personal Description
Sara Polak is a user researcher with a background in Human Computer Interaction. She completed her bachelor in Psychology & Technology at the Eindhoven University of Technology in 2019. She then continued with a double master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction and Design from the EIT Digital Master School, which she completed cum laude in 2021.
She finds human behaviour the most fascinating subject there is. Even though there might be many changes ongoing in society, humans will always be there, reacting in different ways to these changes. Many changes are now realised through rapid technological developments. Therefore, her interest lies in discovering the delicate interface of human behaviour and digital technologies, especially in healthcare. At imec-SMIT, Vrije Universiteit Brussel she works in the unit of Health & Work Living Labs, focusing on the development of supporting technologies for elderly with multiple chronic conditions.
