Jonne Van Belle

Jonne graduated in 2019 as an industrial design engineer with a specialisation in human-technology relations. Within SMIT she works as a researcher and project officer at the Flemish Knowledge Centre Data & Society. She works on supporting organisations and governments on how to develop digital technologies in an ethical way both from a design and organisational perspective.

With her background in design and human-technology relations, she is interested in understanding the social impact of technologies and how this can be improved using design and communication. In her projects she likes to combine ideas from human-centered design, social science and philosophy of technology to find ways to create responsible (design of) technologies.
