I am fascinated by the adaptation of news media to an increasingly digital-first world, looking at how the media industry is testing solutions to innovate while readers are discovering new ways to consume news. In a time of experiments and question marks I find it intriguing to understand whether and how policy makers can influence this transition process. I am part of the News Innovation unit and I am currently doing my PhD as FWO fundamental research fellow on collaborative practices for media innovation in journalism. On top of that, since 2020, I am involved in the implementation of the media innovation scheme Stars4Media.
I obtained my MA in Philosophy in 2015 at the University of Milan, after which I have worked during 4 years as a communication and advertising consultant. Between 2018 and 2019 I completed my MSc in Communication Studies at the VUB.
