It intrigues to see how digital technologies settle in and influence our everyday lives. During my studies at university, I had the chance to work on a research paper on the social impact of digitalization on students, which triggered my interest for the matter of e-inclusion.
I hold a master’s degree in Communication Science from the Vrije Universiteit Brussels, where I graduated in 2015. At the University of Antwerp I attained an additional master in Art Management in 2016. I joined Imec-SMIT in 2018, where I started working on the IDEALiC project with a focus on e-inclusion policies in Belgium.
In 2019 I set up an e-inclusion project in the city of Antwerp. From 2020, the focus of my research will be on privacy and digital media, namely on the GDPR compliance of SMEs (BOOST).
