POLICY-MAKING WORKSHOP ‘Book publishing in the age of platforms’
This Möbius policy workshop will look at the relationship between publishers and platforms under several points of view, highlighting challenges and opportunities for publishers related to technology, business models and the legislative framework –with a close look at the expected impact of the Digital Markets Act. The workshop will be an opportunity to examine the disruptive potential new initiatives have for digital publishing and how it could be possible to rebalance the position of publishers towards platforms. A panel of experts, practitioners, and policymakers will carry out the discussion, exploring the various aspects of the subject.
