Laurence Claeys wins ESA awards with Sensolus startup

What are the needed features of satellite positioning devices to open up new markets? This is the question underlying the stickNtrack product developed by Sensolus and submitted for the European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC).

stickNtrack is a compact, maintenance-free, low-cost, satellite-based position tracker, including payload monitoring to keep track of valuable assets without the hassle of charging batteries, managing SIM cards or any intrusive installation. Sensolus believes by using the Ultra Narrow Band new opportunities in the Internet-of-Things world will arise.

stickNtrack is a tracking device that in that way can become an important player on the Internet-of-Things markets related to asset tracking, logistics, smart cities and many more. All domains that are often now not are GPS-enabled because the hassle exceeds the value.

With this product Sensolus did win not less then three ESA prices!

The Regional Price for Belgium/Flanders,the Special Innovation Price and a 3rd overall ranking.
