Lawsuit against Facebook for invasion of privacy

The Austrian student Max Schrems has started a lawsuit against Facebook for the invasion of its users' privacy. He is joined by almost 25.000 people in his pursuit.
He demands €500 per person whose privacy has been breached.
Rob Heyman, one of our researchers, decided to join him in his cause.
He explains that he doesn't expect to see any money in this case, since the Belgian law isn't set up that way. He would however like to see an opt-out button, to not allow the website to share your private data.
He feels that if Schrems' lawsuit was more clearly defined, it would have more effect.
